MY FAVORITE POEM

A SAD CHOLO

This cholo cried;
su corazon has died;
a hyna he once had;
left him feeling sad;
at night he looks up at the sky;
tries to hide the sadness by getting high;
he puts his cuete to his head;
thinking he was better off dead;
he puts in his clip, takes another hit;
a tear goes down his face, as he holds the gun in place;
the bullet cuts thro like a knife;
as he lays in a puddle of blood;
he wrote a note and put it in his hand;
telling her he thought he was her only man;
i saw the note;
and took this quote "this blood i shed;
is from the bullet to my head;
over and over i cried and cried;
our love i tried to save;
it didn't happen...so i take it with me to the GRAVE"





This poem is about a girl who leaves her boyfriend; her boyfriend loved her so much that he gave up his life because she wasn't by his side.I like this poem because it shows how far a person would go for the person they love...its a sad but true poem...some people don't relize what they have in front of them untill its to late and when its to late they regret what they did to lose the person.

to what would you compare the morning?

i would compare the morning to a sheet of paper.each day is a new way to plan your day.a new beggining to a new story.and every day your story would start and end a new way.

i think poetry....is a way to express what you think about certian things.its something that helps you feel better once you write about it.poetry helps you let what you feel and think about things.poerty compares to many things such as life,people,family ,etc.
